Summer Dreaming

Have you been Summer Dreaming?

...  and do you suppose that's actually the scent
 of Coconut Oil sliding over
 your warm Summer Skin in your
Summer Dream?

If your Sunny Summer Dreams
become a little too warm,

there is always the refreshing
Dream of Clear Cool Summer Water.

 

Summer Dreams fill your senses ...

and if you listen to your Dreams closely,

I believe you'll hear Waves gently lapping
against the shore ...

... or perhaps your dream will be filled with
Powerful Waves that are Crashing ...
are you a Surfer Girl?

If you've been Summer Dreaming, like me,

then you've been bringing to life that
Summer Feeling ...

I know that June is still another month away ...

but my thoughts are definitely splashing into a

happy Summer frame of mind ...

I've been dipping my brush into summer shades of
watercolor lately

and taking myself mentally to
Summer Shores

through a few breezy little illustrations

{like snaps in a scrapbook}

 of a variety of different summer girls having fun

for the blog header.
Did you notice them up there?
They're not girls with specific names ...
perhaps they're you?

The header may or may not be finished ...

I'm simply playing with new design ideas.

Whatever the new header design ends up like,

I plan on frequently replacing

 one or more of the "scrapbook" illustrations,
similar to the way we all take

 new "snaps" for our scrapbooks ...

making it a constantly revolving header.

So, keep your eyes above for the ever-changing fun!

And the header isn't all that
will be changing over the summer!

Along with walking in beach sand,
picnics with pink lemonade

and moving into my new house

over the summer season,
I am planning on completely redoing the

Sandy M  ~ Ooh La Frou Frou
website and blog.

My illustration career

 is growing fast and
expanding in exciting ways

and the new website and blog will reflect

the new changes ...

but I'll save those details for a future post
before summer begins.

hear crickets chirping
