A Post by Tiffany ... Start the Holidays!

Hi everyone! So good to see you again!
In my last post, I talked about how much I love
Tiffany and Company
and Audrey Hepburn style.

THIS time, I'm going to virtually
bring all of you to New York with me
to get us all in the holiday spirit!
I don't know about you,
but I just love this time of year!
New York turns into a wonderland
and I practically feel like skipping down the streets
with joy at the sheer beauty!
Thanksgiving turkey, Christmas carols, store decorations,
the clip clop of carriages carrying couples huddled together,
 the Rockettes at Radio City,
people ice-skating at Rockefeller Center,
the snow falling ...
just the thought of it all and I'm a kid again!
Can you almost hear the jingle bells in the air?

All of the excitement begins for me with the
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Yes, it's chilly outside, but I just grab a holiday-flavored latte
and enjoy being a part of the excitement!
It's so exciting with the stars waving
and the music blaring
and the people cheering
that I almost feel as if I'm front and center
and part of the parade itself!

And then there's holiday shopping!
There's nothing I like better than wandering from store to store,
soaking in all of the holiday vignettes!
It's made even more fun because all of New York's
fabulous holiday windows are being introduced now,
just begging you to come in!

Come walk along with me and I'll show you a few!

This year Henry Bendel partnered with the
New York City Ballet for a holiday window theme of
The Nutcracker.
Bet the ballerinas make little girls just sigh!

Here are but a few of Berdorf-Goodman's Travel-Themed Windows ..

Well, hello Rudolph!

Are your feet tired yet?
Let's just trot over to Lord and Taylor's ...
These are so great!
Lord and Taylor's windows are based on some of the
actual memories sent in by shoppers this year ...
This first window rotates so that you can see the inside of the townhouse.

Yes, I know, my feet are tired too!
Just one last stop!
Barney's has food themed windows this season ...

Wow, that was  quite a walk, but thanks for the company!
Lastly, I couldn't forget the fabulous
Rockefeller Center Christmas tree!
This year, the tree lighting ceremony will be on
November 30th!

Every year for the tree-lighting ceremony,
I dress extra sparkly in honor of
the fabulous night!

Thanks, everybody, for joining me in New York!
All of the Ooh La Frou Frou girls AND
the artist will be travelling over the
Thanksgiving holiday, so we will
not be posting next Monday,
but will be back on the following Monday,
December 6th!
We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving
filled with family and love.
And I hope that my post
got you a little more in the spirit of the holidays!
