If you are not from the States,
Memorial Day
is officially a national holiday
honoring our fallen soldiers
that we are all so incredibly grateful for.
It is also the unofficial
start of our summer season
and many Americans will be
showing appreciation to our country
like this ...
As I mentioned last week on the blog,
my posts starting this week and throughout the summer
will be made up of me stopping by to say hello
and a few words of what's new with me
and to hear what's happening with you,
while the new website and blog designs are being created.
As for what I'm doing this Memorial Day,
I've been out of town visiting family this weekend ...
and yes, eating outdoors is most definitely included!

It's been raining for three days and it's so chilly. I hope summer arrives with a heat wave. I hope you're enjoying a wonderful long weekend!
