and if in dreams she could, she would make herself fly;

so she might better look for him, this man she's not yet met,
she knows it will happen soon ...
it just hasn't happened yet ..."

Could she be you?
She knows she's probably passed him on some busy city street ...
and she dreams every night of the day they finally meet.

The "COULD SHE BE YOU" series
is always fun and inspiring for me
 and I hope for you, as it takes us away ...
and maybe your answer to the question
"COULD SHE BE YOU"
is sometimes yes!
Since it's Valentine's week,
I created this fantasy is especially for those of you
that just haven't met THE one yet.

Dreaming up different scenarios always opens
creative doors for me as an artist ...
by travelling to different places and circumstances

through words and photos, ideas begin to flow
for illustrations.

On another note ...
did Mother Nature pay you a visit last week?

SHE LIVES HER OWN LITTLE FAIRYTALE

{with Illustrated Gift Tag for Valentine's Day}

"She lives her own little fairytale,

walking in glitter and tasting gold encrusted sweets;
she loves wearing raspberry lips and soft satin ribbons,

her nights are soft in the pink glow of candlelight.

And when it comes to romance,

she weaves a tale of sweet magic,

filled with mystery and scented love notes.

She knows who will be her Valentine ...

and she smiles as she writes his fortune ..."

Could she be you?

You know I love to create a little backstory to go with an illustration,
no matter how small it is ... and with Valentine's Day only a few weeks away,

I thought it was the perfect time for a little Monday romance!

That is why I created a little illustration of a fortune cookie

dipped in pink icing and covered in "sprinkles" and added a heart.

The gift tag below can be printed off by going to the

download page here and clicking on the

"Valentine Fortune Cookie" link that is there on the page.

The cookie gift tag that you print off will be minus the fortune

that is shown above because this gift tag was created

so that you could write or type your own Valentine fortune,
cut a little slit into the edge of the cookie on the tag
and insert your fortune on the left side, as shown above.

You will notice on the tag, at the base of the cookie, a grey "fold" line.

Just fold along the line, bending toward the back of the tag to create a

"pocket" to protect the backside of the fortune you will insert.

Add a little double stick tape inside the pocket at the top of the flap

 on the backside to hold the flap in place.

(It will be clear when you see the printed version.)

You can even add a little glitter to your fortune cookie

if you'd like ... or print several and place them on several

little gifts for your Valentine, creating a "scavenger hunt"

with the little fortunes leading your Valentine

to the next gift ... for a very lucky Valentine! lol
