A Post by Cherie ... Santa Baby

Hello Darlings!
It's Cherie, the fashion model!
I hope that all of our American friends
had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We certainly did!
Sorry we had to be away travelling last week,
but I'm making up for it by literally FILLING my post with
all KINDS of glamorous holiday happiness!
You'll find illustration, city scenes,
a fun shopping trip through Bergdorf's,
glamorous gift wrapping ideas,
two fun videos, a FAB holiday card and a
very special gift for you from Ooh La Frou Frou!

I have a little time off now from my hectic modeling schedule
and it feels wonderful to have the month of December
to relax and enjoy
leisurely days and exciting nights
during the holiday season in the city!

On Tiffany's recent post,
she took you with her on a walk around the city
to enjoy our one-of-a-kind New York Christmas windows.
Well ...
I wanted to bring you to the city, as well,
so I've included a couple of videos
that will make you feel as if you're here!
Come and step into the first one with me now ...
we'll visit the short and magical introduction
of the Saks Fifth Avenue Snowflakes and Bubbles
display on the side of the Saks building!
It will be easy to pretend
you're right here with me in New York!

You never know what magical scene will await you
around every corner during this fantastical season in the city
and what sparkling stories are unfolding behind every glowing window.
The Plaza Hotel looks beautiful dressed glamorously
in glittery lights at this time of the year.
Eloise would be proud.
Plaza Images via

One of the many nice things about being a city girl
is that at any given moment, I can head back
to the warmth of my apartment,
and while snowflakes float down
over the shoppers and taxis beyond my window,
I can decorate my tree
and wrap my presents by a roaring fire,
while listening to Bing Crosby sing my very favorite
Christmas song:
Silver Bells
(it's Christmas time in the city ...)

Speaking of trees
...
did you know I'm decorating mine
with tiny high heels?
You can see it on the new
Ooh La Frou Frou Collection holiday card!
And guess who stars in it?  Me, darling!

Introducing
Ooh La Frou Frou's holiday card entitled:
SANTA BABY!

I posed for the card in a sparkling hot pink evening gown,
with long white gloves.
And on a side table waiting for Santa,
I've placed a glass of pinot noir
and a luscious, thick slice of chocolate cake
and a little sign that says ...
Santa Baby, of course!

The text inside the card reads:
"Have Yourself a Glamorous Little Christmas"
"Santa Baby" Holiday Card Illustration by Sandy - Artist, Ooh La Frou Frou

I love this card so much,
I may just have it enlarged and hang it over my fireplace!
If you'd like to purchase this card,
scoot right on over here and when you get there,
click on "Cards" and then "Holiday".
These hand-glittered cards are very special
individual cards perfect for
sending along your glamorous wishes,
and we're giving special Christmas cost break over the individual price
for sets of 10.

Since we've been on the subject of Christmas trees,
have you decorated your tree yet, girls?
I love glamorous holiday ornaments
and ornaments that have city and shopping scenes.
I wanted to show you these city-themed ornaments ..
they're so cute!

Bloomingdale's "New York City Scene" Decoupage Ornaments via

... and I LOVE these
"James the Doorman"
and "Shopping Lady" Ornaments:
"Oh, James, could you get that door for me dear?"

at Bergdorf-Goodman via

Shopping in the city during the holidays is special indeed.
Everyone seems so joyous, bells are ringing in the air
and the sound of Christmas music swirls from the stores.
It's almost as if you're in a snow globe!

Let's walk over to Bergdorf-Goodman.

Illustration of Cheri "Shopping in the City" by Sandy - Artist, Ooh La Frou Frou

If you enter the doors of Bergdorf,
you can wander through six floors of
glamorous eye candy.
I'm trying to decide what to get the girls.
I know they'd love one of these elegant and slim
Judith Leiber compact mirrors with Austrian crystals  ...

or maybe one of these cute
paperweights with custom-calligraphy in their own name
(because it's custom: must be ordered by December 10 from Bergdorf)

and it's always fun to at least dream
about the pricey items like this sweet
Chanel Ice Cube Clutch!

You can wander through and dream about
all of these items and many more
in Bergdorf-Goodman's Holiday Gift Book
and pretend you're actually here!

By the time you shop through
the first six floors of luxe goodies,
you may just find yourself sitting prettily by the elevator,
not able to go a step further ...

Image via

But do convince yourself to summon the strength to
slip in the elevator and push "Floor Seven,"
which houses the magical Decorative Home store
and the wonderful Kelly Weartsler-designed
CAFE BG!
It's the perfect place to sit at a
very special window seat
that overlooks the Plaza Hotel
and enjoy a cappuccino or a spot of tea
as I often do ...

Image via

and perhaps a little deliciousness to go along with the tea ...
such as a BG strawberry shortcake?

Image via

After shopping my pretty little legs off
and replenishing myself with a luxurious treat
at Cafe BG,
I head back home to my apartment
for a little gift wrapping.
And now I have a little gift-wrapping helper!
Do you remember my first (and only other so far) post,
I had talked about how much I wanted a little pug someday?
I travel so much, I thought I'd have to put it off forever,
but .....
I couldn't wait ANY longer!
Little Luxe loves to help me with my Christmas wrapping!
Is she not pretty glamorous herself?

Illustration of  Little Luxe as "Wrapping Helper" by Sandy - Artist, Ooh La Frou Frou
I've been thinking about wrapping presents
for the girls in fun ways.
Here are a couple of ideas I had:

This "Hat-Inspired" giftwrap design
using both black and an animal print wrapping paper
would be perfect for a gift of some soft berets nestled inside
 or maybe
a gorgeous matching hat/scarf/glove set!

Or how about helping your girlfriends get prepared
for those mistletoe kisses?
The top of the box has a pretty lipstick nestled in the mistletoe!
Maybe inside the box you could get a pretty make-up bag
that holds a jeweled mirror and/or other "supplies."

If you'd like to spend a little more time
wandering the streets with me
enjoying the holiday lights
of New York at night,
just step into this video, and voila!
Just like magic ... you'll be here!

And lastly,
Ooh La Frou Frou
has a little gift for you, our fabulous fans!
Free Ooh La Frou Frou Holiday Gift Tags
that YOU can print at home!
Just print on cardstock,
cut on the guide lines, punch a hole,
add ribbon & you're all set!

There's the "Shopping in the City" tag:

and also a "Little Luxe" with wrapping paper tag:

That's it, girls, for my HUGE holiday post!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Have a super fabulous week &

Stunning, as always. I would love a gown like that for a Christmas by the fire place. I'd also need a chef and waitresses so that I don't spill anything on my dress!
