Glamorous Plan B Fantasy Frou Frou Party

 Hello Darlings!
This is Sandy, the artist and creator
of The Ooh La Frou Frou Collection.

Sometimes we girls need a Glamorous Plan B
don't you agree?
I needed one this week!
My illustration time was cut drastically short
because of my schedule
AND
I had unexpected out-of-town guests
for the weekend.
As wonderful as all of that is ...
it left little time to do the illustrations necessary
for the planned third "Recap of the Girls" post
(otherwise known as Plan A!)
so ...

We'll continue with the third
"Recap of the Girls" post
next Monday.
If you haven't seen the first two Recap posts ...
don't miss them!
We started with a Recap of Ooh La Frou Frou Girl Hope
and continued with Ooh La Frou Frou Girl Tiffany
where we found out what the apartment
of each of these girls looks like!
Next Monday, we'll feature Ooh La Frou Frou Girl Cherie!

As for this week ...
Enter Glamorous Plan B!
It's always a good rule to have a Glamorous Plan B
at the ready to pull out of our jeweled clutch
at a moment's notice, no?

via (edited by Ooh La Frou Frou)
And at Ooh La Frou Frou ...
that Glamorous Plan B
is an invitation to you
to join us here right now for an impromptu
Fantasy Frou Frou Party
in honor of wonderful YOU,
our Glamorous Girlfriends!
Ooh La Frou Frou
positively delights
when we hear of the
success and happiness
of you, our Girlfriends,
and we've chosen one of you to be our
"Special Guest of Honor"
at our Fantasy Frou Frou party!
A Pink Toast to Kori Donahue!

Lovely Kori of a charming blog called Blonde Episodes
has written her first novel (I know, right?)
and it has just been released
in e-book form on Amazon!
(paperback version to be released in about a week!)
Book Description:
Our Congratulations to You, Kori!

Shall we party now, girls?
Come with me and step into
Ooh La Frou Frou's private dressing room and
let's get gorgeous ...

slipping into something glamorous is so divine ...
what would slip into if you could slip into anything?

via

Hurry, girls,
alas, our carriage awaits!
Is there really anything more fun than a girl party?

When you open the door
to a glamorous Fantasy Frou Frou party,
of course, there will be lots of sparkle ..

Ooh La Frou Frou
toasts all of you, our Glamorous Girlfriends ...

Bubbles and Sweets for the Sweet ...

via
And what would a Frou Frou Party be
without kicking off our heels
to dance the night away!

via

via
via

Hope you had fun at our
Glamorous Plan B
Fantasy Frou Frou Party!
And best wishes to Kori
for a fabulous new writing career!

Be sure to come back next Monday,
when we'll continue with our "Recap of the Girls"
and find out where
Ooh La Frou Frou girl Cherie lives,
as well as the introduce the second notecard
to be included in our soon-to-be-released
City Girl Boxed Notecards!
Till then ...
we'll send you into this new week
with a little more Audrey
that speaks Ooh La Frou Frou's sentiments
so very well ...

Lottie: SO glad you came to visit for our party, Lottie, love! Always a pleasure to have you! I know, isn't that pink dress beautiful? I love the sleek elegance of the last one too ;) Have a wonderful week! xo

Vanessa@Luxuria: Hi sweetie! Thanks, I'm so glad you enjoyed the party! When you do the kind of posts that I do, there are several things that are time-consuming ~ the planning and dreaming; the image searching, if using; the writing and the ILLUSTRATING. The illustrating is the most time intensive. For this party, I relied upon some illustrations that I had previously created and were in my archive, so that made it a little easier! xo

Soapy Mermaid: Hi Sweetheart! Ooh, I got an award? Merci!! Can't wait to visit and check it out ... I'm so very happy that Ooh La Frou Frou is one of your favorite blogs! xo

Sarah-L-B: Hi Darling Sarah! I love to hear that you check out the blog and escape into another world ... so fun that you can step out of your workplace and into Ooh La Frou Frou for a fantasy break!! Have a lovely week, sweetie and thanks so much for commenting ~ I so love it ;) xo

Raicreations Designs: Something about sparkle always makes me happy. Anyone that knows me well knows that I positively melt looking at city lights twinkling at night ... I'm such a city girl, maybe the sparkle I see everywhere .. in clothes, in chandeliers .. just brings to mind the sparkle of the city at night! ;)

Paris Pastry: The only thing that perhaps could have made it better would have been some of your delectable creations on the table!! Thanks for attending the party, darling! xoxo

When I see all those gorgeous tuille dresses and sparkles I want to crack open the champagne and blow a lot of money on my credit card! Tonight however I will just celebrate with a macaron... :-) I love the NY city shots here, reminds me how lucky I am to have an adventure in this city!

Style on the Couch: New York IS a divine place to have an adventure .. that's why I chose New York as the place for the girls to live (Sunny's the only one that goes back and forth from NY to CA ;) ... she's gotta have that beach, you know!). Enjoy your macaron, lovely! Thanks for joining us for the party! xo

I love dresses with wide, romantic sashes. The skyline photo is lovely with the grey clouds. Also, those cupcakes are delightful. What wonderful photographs. Have a lovely week ~ xox Alexandra

Christy: Thank you so much, Christy, for your lovely compliments on the blog and so glad you found us!! Lots and lots of glamorous fantasy fun to come! xoxo

Beth in My World: LOL, Beth, you made me truly laugh out loud! What a funny picture you painted with your words. So very glad you enjoyed our little frou frou party! xoxo

Kristin: Yes, I'm so excited for Kori ... and for all of our girls when success knocks at our doors! xoxo

Heather Pranitis: Hi lovely ... Thank you and so glad you could join us for the frou frou party! We're so happy for Kori girl! xoxo

Gabriella (sensibly luxe): Thanks, sweetie! So glad you could party with Ooh La Frou Frou! I will be ordering the book too, but will have to wait for the paperback, as I haven't moved on to the e-book route quite yet ... I can see it in my near future, though! xoxo

Coco Coterie: Hi sweet Alexandra! So glad you could stop by the party ... and I agree, those crown cupcakes ARE delightful. I've seen crowns similar to those that are meant to hold votive candles or tea lights ... I wonder if that's what these are? If so, what a great idea! ;) Have a simply wonderful week! xoxo

Well, I don't mind at ALL that part three has been set to next week with you taking me to a girls night out like this. Clearly with little time your best comes out just as much:)
Oh and about your pug and the same sort of expressions as a Frenchie, I know I know! That's why I LOVE Frenchies. I'm already spoiled with three pugs-in law. They made me fall hard for the little cuties... sigh <3

Sandy at Ooh La Frou Frou said...

Christel @Captivated by Image: So glad you enjoyed our little party, sweetie! Regarding the pugs ... our pug Lily is 6 years old now and she's the first pug we've ever had ... she's also the smartest dog! She knows SO many words I say on a regular basis in conversation and comes running to me because she recognizes them! ;) xoxo

Oh, oh, oh pink dress and champagne dress with keyhole back!! That was quite a party!

Such inspirational and amazing photos! I love the last quote the best, keeping that! =)

xoxo
Miss Neira

Sandy at Ooh La Frou Frou said...

Silver Magpies: I agree ... isn't that dress just the most delectable? I'm trying to think (other than a girl party) what kind of event I'd be courageous enough to wear it ... it shows a little cleavage of a different kind!

Miss Neira: I love that quote as well ... especially because it says so well what we try to say at Ooh La Frou Frou .. if you love fairytales, you have imagination ... if you have imagination, you can do anything ;) Thanks for joining us this week, sweets!

This is a good reason to party and swirl. I adore that peach-coloured dress - so romantic and pretty.
