Paris Party

Bonjour darlings ...
Did you awake thinking that this middle-of-the-week kind of day
was going to be ordinary?
Oh, contraire ...
let's throw some gold confetti in the air to zing it up a little
and pretend for a while ...
let's say we've decided on a whim (don't we all do things on a whim?)
that we're going to fly off to Paris
and be French girls for a few days ....

... a decision like this needs planning, of course,
so right now we're all sitting around the most charming breakfast table
talking about a Paris dinner party we want to throw there.
I believe
that any discussion anywhere surely would HAVE to be even
more fabulous if the conversation were held while sitting on gold chairs.
You can quote me on that ...

So, we're sitting around on our gold chairs
and dreaming about the plane we're going to hop to Paris ...

... that is, of course, just as soon as we go to our rooms to pack
sparkly things into our prettiest bags ...

Soooooo ....
it was a great flight (don't you think?) and
as soon as we land in Paris we're going to need
to put our heads together and plan a fabulous fete ...
what's the first thing you'd take care of?
Venue, I assume.  Great minds think alike.
Do you think we'd be lucky enough to
be able to rent a Paris apartment for a dinner party like this?
It would be pretty magnifique!

Of course, if we had the option of the
French Royal Palace dining room, we could invite
a few more friends ...

But, even if we didn't have the perfect Paris apartment
or palace dining room to choose from,
we could always set out for a walk on Paris streets
in search of a magic location for our dinner party ...
I'm sure we'd see golden magic around every corner ...
let's walk ...

Where should we choose, do you think?
Because Paris is filled with elaborate fleurs,
things like this come to mind when I think of it ...

... and things like this ...
... I just know we'll have a lot of fun selecting flowers
for our soiree ...

... and bubbles .. we can't forget bubbles ...
and we must sample along the way ....

I'm sure our party would be the talk of Paris ...
and even if it is just a fantasy, just remember this ...
life is a party on it's own and doesn't really require a lot of people ...
given the right surroundings, a party for one
can be so much fun  ...
via

... or a party for two, even better ...
